The Association of Residential Letting Agents, ARLA supported by a panel of leading mortgage lenders has designed a an initiative device to stimulate the growth of the Private Rented Sector by encouraging private investors to take the opportunities given by low, highly competitive, interest rates and the reasonable certainty of sustained capital growth over the coming years this is named as BUY TO LET.
The panels of lenders who support this scheme have brought their interest rates in parallel with the rates of the owner occupation and have also taken the account for letting servicing loans. This change in the context has been brought by the knowledge of involving the agents in selecting the suitable rental markets and also selection of tenants in the management of properties. Enhancing the credibility of this policy.
Around 1200 ARLA members’ offices all over the lenders have a countrywide network of experienced lettings agents who comply with the ARLA Codes of Practice and the ARLA training and qualification requirements in letting and property management. The national chains, regional multiples and specialist independents are the members of ARLA and their companies are covered by the ARLA fidelity bond linked to required client accounting procedures and high levels of professional indemnity cover.
The Buy-to-Let panels of mortgage lenders are bringing a new impetus to the Private Rented Sector and an investment opportunity through these agents, and through their own branch networks and their links to independent financial advisers, accountants and family solicitors. Giving them an addition to their investment portfolios considering their own private pension planning.
